In this workshop we will explore the meanings of the drawings depicted in José de Guimarães’ African Alphabet (1970-74) and reinterpret them with the technique of painting with light. Let's play with symbols - feet, hands, teeth, heads, tongues, tattoos, digits ..., and place them in dialogue with objects from the artist's collection and invent new relationships.
