After Vader (Father) and Moeder (Mother) – shows that were also performed in the CCVF – Kind (Child) is the third part of the
family trilogy from the renowned Belgian company, Peeping Tom. In this work,
Gabriela Carrizo and Franck Chartier explore different sources of psychosis,
from the child's perspective. The work addresses themes such as violence, the
paradox between reality and fiction, the other, trauma, in an attempt to prove
that, to a large extent, the environment in which we grow up can determine the
person that we become. In a duality between reflex and resistance, Kind questions the perverse aspects of identity formation.
