2021 continues to test our collective strength - taking us down a difficult path so that we can fully recover the close ties between individuals and communities. A cultural event is above all an act of freedom, in the form of a celebration. Guimarães Handicrafts Fair is one such space, where people and objects come together, to which we give different meanings.
Being an artisan means dedicating a large part of your life to the passion of exercising the craft that you have learned and which, fortunately, still survives today. A large group of works by local artisans from Guimarães and from various parts of the country will be highlighted in the XXIII Guimarães Handicrafts Fair: the concrete expression of a living legacy of techniques and practices that have been explored since time immemorial.
