“BAqUE” is a celebration in which a collective of trans people experience a ritual of affection and fables. We propose to (re)narrate the world and the relationships that connect us with existence: talking about everything that makes us vibrate in life and also makes us stop vibrating within it. It is a concertperformance that aims to answer the question: if my body did not exist before me, what would I talk about?
«This dance performance was born from the exhaustion of long-established narratives about trans bodies, that are always linked to pain and suffering. As an artist, I am interested in bringing new narratives about other possible ways of being in the world. In this quest, I have brought together a cast of very diverse talents, to highlight the potency and dysphoric joy of peculiar existences»
