In Onironauta (From Greek óneiros (dream) + náutés (navigator), Tânia Carvalho puts seven dancers on stage, as physical incarnations of a controlled oneirism. Seven bodies that have emerged from the bitter limbo of a waking sleep, which the choreographer accompanies on stage on the piano.
After her debut in Marseille and her visit to Lisbon, Tânia Carvalho returns with the opening performance of the 10th edition GUIdance - after having debuted her work, Captured by Intuition, in 2017. With a career spanning more than two decades, the choreographer returns with a moving and chilling work, like some disturbing dreams from which we suddenly wake, confused and trembling.
